THE STYLE NETWORK ANNOUNCES NEW REALITY SERIES WITH GIULIANA AND BILL RANCIC PREMIERING AUGUST 2009

“Giuliana & Bill” Follows Newlywed Couple as They Juggle High-Profile Careers and Married Life While Living Apart in Chicago and Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA, April 27, 2009 – The Style Network is taking viewers inside the lives of newlyweds Giuliana and Bill Rancic. The couple met at an event several years ago when Giuliana, anchor for “E! News,” was interviewing Bill about his experience winning NBC’s “The Apprentice.” They quickly fell in love and were married in 2007 in a romantic Italian wedding as featured in the Style special “Marry Me in Capri.” Now the duo are settling into married life but unlike most couples they are living across the country from each other with Bill developing real estate in Chicago and Giuliana covering celebrity interviews, red carpet events and entertainment news for E! in Los Angeles. The new half-hour series, “Giuliana & Bill,” premieres August 2009 on Style.

“Giuliana and Bill’s relationship is filled with humor, fun and affection,” said Salaam Coleman Smith, President, The Style Network. “Style viewers will join Giuliana and Bill every step of the way as they navigate life as smitten newlyweds while pursuing demanding careers – 2,000 miles apart. Our audience will experience firsthand the whirlwind of modern marriage.”

From building their Chicago dream home to hanging with each other’s outrageous families to wild weekends in Vegas, Giuliana and Bill are living life to the fullest as they embark on new adventures as husband and wife. And while living in two different places is not easy, they are committed to cell phone conversations and cross-country flights in order to make it work. Bill even gives learning the Italian language a shot in an effort to continue impressing Giuliana’s Italian family. But as with every couple there can be bumps in the road and Giuliana tries to relive her single days with a girls’ night out in Hollywood.

The series also offers a taste of what a day on the job is like for each of the Rancics. Viewers will follow Giuliana every step of the way from E! News morning meetings to behind-the-scenes access with some of today’s biggest celebrities to her frantic search for the perfect red carpet dress. Bill previously worked for Donald Trump following his win on “The Apprentice” but has since moved on. He is now developing real estate on his own and viewers will go inside Bill’s multi-million dollar construction projects. And when Giuliana decides that she wants a taste of Bill’s real estate world, hilarity ensues as Bill puts her to work on one of his construction crews for a day.

Although Giuliana and Bill see the world quite differently – she’s the Hollywood dreamer, he’s the Midwest realist – their commitment to making it work and their enormous love for each other keeps them glued together. And while Giuliana is pulling out all the stops to make Bill fall in love with Los Angeles, it looks like their long distance marriage is here to stay. Viewers also get to know the couple’s closest friends who play an integral part of their lives, as well as Giuliana’s colorful assistant, Matthew, who tries to keep her hectic life in order.

In 2007, Style viewers watched Giuliana and Bill wed in the special “Marry Me in Capri,” which was the network’s highest-rated original special ever among both households and Style’s target women 18-49 audience. The special was seen by more than five million total viewers.

“Giuliana & Bill” is produced by Comcast Entertainment Productions and premieres August 2009 on Style. Jay James and Carmen Mitcho are Executive Producers for Comcast Entertainment Productions and Sarah Weidman and Merah Chung are Executive Producers for Style.
